Tutoring for ages 5–14. One-to-one, group and home education sessions are available.
Sale Grammar School is part of the Trafford consortium. A qualifying score is not the same thing as a place: each school publishes its own oversubscription criteria. We teach the skills the exam assesses and leave the admissions rules for you to check with the school.
Reading and SPaG
Comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Understanding a text, not only reading the words
- Grammar and punctuation used in writing
- A calmer approach for children who have lost confidence
11+ preparation
Available where a family is preparing for an entrance exam.
- Skills first, then exam-style questions
- The paper matched to the schools you are considering
- A routine that leaves room for the rest of childhood
